Payment is requested in full prior to delivery date. All goods supplied will remain the property of Glass London Ltd, until paid in full.
Glass London Ltd will give guidance as to when customers orders will be available. Customers will be notified when their goods are available for collection or delivery, providing a contact telephone numbers was provided at the point of sale. Any non-stock orders for items that need to be ordered in specially will be advised of the projected date of our receipt, Glass London Ltd will not accept responsibility for any loss caused by delays in non-stock items not arriving in good time.
Delivery Dates & Times
Standard deliveries will be made between Monday to Friday and within the working hours of 08.30 to 16.30. We will endeavour to give accurate times for deliveries on the agreed date. We strongly advise all our customers not to book in builders, plumbers, electricians etc. until the goods are received. Glass London Ltd will not be liable for any loss how-ever caused as a result of any delay in delivery. All deliveries are to the tailboard of delivery vehicle only.
Heavy / Volume Items
An additional charge will be made for all two man deliveries which will be quoted at the time of agreement.
It is a condition that:
There is suitable and practicable road access for the delivery vehicles to the customers premises
That the delivery and unloading can be conveniently carried out by means of adequate access
That any delivery beyond a suitable entrance to the customers premises is at the sole discretion of the driver and at the sole risk of the customer.
The delivery charge consists of a distance charge and where applicable, a handling charge which will be quoted. Only one attempt will be made to deliver to the customer on the agreed date, if the customer or there agent is unable to take delivery, there will be additional delivery charges for any further attempts to deliver.
Delivery Collection Note
The customer or there authorised agent will be responsible for checking the quantities / condition of goods supplied and for singing the receipt on the Delivery / Collection Note. Any claims for discrepancies, breakages or shortages of goods, must be made in writing within 3 days of delivery / collection.
The delivery drivers have been instructed not to accept gratuities and are not permitted to undertake any ancillary services such as erection, installation, fitting, repairs or recommendations in connection with the goods delivered.
All glass is cut to a tolerance of +/- 2mm.
Acceptance of the terms above is a condition of the delivery contract.
